Struggling with Sensory Overload Due to Hearing Aids

I wear hearing aids (only in my right, I’m severely deaf in my left) and I can’t stand being in places with high noises (sirens, screaming, etc.) cause they give me a sensory overload. Anytime my HAs give me feedback, someone squeals near my ear, etc. I just can’t think and it gets super stressful.

When hearing aids I had to deal with the same thing can be so aggravating and what I did how I dealt with it was I took the hearing aids out I did not use them I just accepted myself I as deaf, that helped me.

I understand that feeling. I got to a point I couldn't handle all the exstra stress my hearing aids were causing me I stopped wearing it if I didn't need to. I'm think of just not earing them at all.
