I've been going on walks and hikes lately, and honestly I feel a lot better both mentally and physically. Having a good group of friends is very important, I don't think I would be doing nearly as well without talking to them even though we're all going to different colleges. Giving myself rewards when I do chores or homework helps motivate me. Most importantly, remembering that I don't need to be 100% or even 70% functioning everyday, and that I can take breaks if I feel like I need to.

Hitting the gym and having a good support system underneath me. Cooking good food and taking care of myself, too. Good soaps, cold showers to help health and brain function, feel clean and smell amazing. Top it all off with moving to an area nearby all the boys after we'd all spread out and you've got a winning combination

Learning to work with my neurodivergence instead of against it has helped a lot. Being kinder to myself when I struggle also goes a long way to make trying different ways of doing things possible. Also, allowing myself to rest without guilt has been a game changer for actually recovering instead of building anxiety.
