My Journey Towards Health and Well-being

It’s been a rollercoaster but every day I feel more and more like myself. Lots of medication changes including a 3 year stint on two antipsychotics (clozapine and olanzapine) at the same time, a few hospital stays. Currently, I am only on the zyprexa, I try to practice good sleep hygiene, I take my medicine every single night without fail, and I see my doctor every few months! I have been in “remission” I like to call it but mainly without positive symptoms for over 4 years. As long as we lead a healthy lifestyle I believe all of us can live an amazing life

closer relationship with family and friends , an overall support system full of loving and caring respectful people is what helped me get there

Staying on my meds. Getting regular sleep. Trying not to oversleep. Exercising every other day. Reaching out to friends and family. It’s still an ongoing process for me, but I’m getting there. 🤗
