I used to take an oral iron supplement in the form of a pill every day when I got my diagnosis- it sucked cause later it gave me the taste of iron in my mouth at random times and i hated it, but it helped with the chronic fatigue I was experiencing. I started eating more fish, which helped me get some of the iron my body so badly needed

I’ve been doing iron infusion for 5 weeks and I think it’s been helping since I have a hard time getting the right amount of food in with my stomach issues.

If you want a good amount of iron in your system, shakes with kelp in it will definitely help you. I prefer to take a prenatal vitamin pill (it contains iron). And yes, you are perfectly allowed to take those even when not pregnant, it just gives you extra stuff.
