Dealing with Health Anxiety and Hypochondria

does anyone else have really bad health anxiety/hypochondria because of past health trauma? i hate it and i don’t know how to stop thinking i have some different disease every day lol

Yes, I have been miss diagnosed and it’s haunts me. The dr. Won’t even agree they were wrong. I’m not looking for compensation or legal action but a simple I’m sorry would go a long way. Their is hope, you can get passed it.

Every time there is a trauma I react negatively. I clam up. I twitch. I shake. It's anxiety but the deep part of your brain says it's not. The hard part is accepting it as such

Sort of? It's because of the health trauma that happened to my dad. About 12 years ago he suffered a blood clot that caused a pulmonary embolism. We watched him and monitors and talked to doctors for months (every single day) while he fought for his life. Now, every little pain or something weird that happens to my body, I think I'm dying or it's something serious. Just yesterday I had a tingling sensation in my foot and I thought I was having a stroke 😢
