Can't Sleep with a Headache: What to Do?

I have a headache cap that i bought on Amazon for around $30 it has a lot of gel packs in it, you keep it in the freezer, it's purple, amazing. I slide it on, lay down in a dark, quiet room and relax.

Cold therapy works most immediately for me. Cool compress over my eyes or ice pack on the top of my head. Mine is usually related to eye strain or dehydration.

I recently read a medical publication that green light therapy works for a lot of migraine sufferers. Last time I had a headache I held a green led near my face and it did help. There are lamps you can buy on Amazon for this.

Childrens Tylenol, if bad enough. Try eating about an inch of cucumber then shut down for a 30 nap.

Not exactly a healthy long-term solution but I take a sleeping pill. 😴
