I get intense pressure and pain in my head sometimes when I stand up, sneeze or do exercise which has been described back to me as a head rush. I can only describe the feeling as my brain expanding and I have to tense up and close my eyes until it passes about 10 seconds later. if I don't it gets worse. is this a form of presyncope?

The symptoms described could be related to conditions like Orthostatic hypotension, which is a sudden drop in blood pressure after standing from sitting or lying down. This can cause symptoms such as a head rush, blurry vision, and headaches. It could also be related to POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), which includes symptoms like dizziness and feeling the heartbeat in the back of the neck/head. However, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis.
