Why isn't Hashimoto's thyroiditis treated with autoimmune drugs?

I've always wondered since Hashimoto's thyroiditis is an autoimmune disease why is it never treated with autoimmune drugs?

We need better treatments for sure. The medicine replaces the hormone we need but it doesnt fix the problem.
