Especially the way of the world I blame my thyroid and hashimotos on everything. !!

I have Hashimoto Hypothyroidism and I didn't realize you can pass it to your children so my autistic teenage son has it too. My body quit being able to absorb the levothyroxine so I have been taking Tirosint which is a gel capsule and now my body is able to absorb the medicine and also I suffer from Fibromyalgia so my doctor recommended an anti-inflammatory diet and that tends to help with both my Fibromyalgia and my Hashimoto's symptoms. I hope this helps you and God Bless

Diagnosed with hypothyroidism almost 30 years ago. Didn't understand that it was Hashimoto's until about 6 years ago. It is the first of my 3 autoimmune disorders. Had to finally go to an endocrinologist to get my levels fixed while I was in menopause.

I was diagnosed in 2014. The meds aren't helping and I can't find anything about the diet. There is too much stuff on the internet

Found out I had it in 2015. Changed my whole life considering I was a young adult in college. I haven’t felt well since even though my labs are fine.

Me too found out around when I was pretty young and have been medicated and tested ever since. And the only reason they tested was because both if my parents suffered Graves disease.
