I've never been sure on how to answer this question. maybe because of how mych i daydream imagining my happy place is really hard . It's constantly changing. one day its the beach, then maybe the shower, then the hammock swing i like. now that I'm not imagining another place 24/7 im just so focused on the here and now. I think where i am right now in this moment is my happy place. I'm happy that I can be here without dissociating or spacing out.

Anywhere near water. Throughout my freshman year of college whenever I was having a really hard time I would take an afternoon just to go sit by the ocean. I also make a conscious effort to surround myself with soft things. This can be literal, like a fluffy blanket or a plushie, but touch isn’t the only sense that can feel softness. My favorite “soft” things are the smell of lavender, a hot cup of earl grey tea, and the sound of birds singing outside my window.
