does anyone else with hidden disabilities experience guilt using priority seats on public transport even though you need it?

Even with my cane I used to feel guilty, I don't so much anymore, as my disability has been getting worse I really do need those seats more than ever, just keep in mind that you do need those seats, and if you could sit somewhere else you would!

Yes. Prior to/during recovery of my back surgery I'd always feel so judged or inconvenient that someone else may need the scooter at the store witn a visible disability and then Lil 23 yr old me is riding the last one that was available... It's so conflicting bc you can't go without but at the same time others need it as well
