Yeah, we had always just assumed we were going crazy but then we found out what DID was - Roman

oh yeah. totally. we knew before this instance too, but when we were 11 we had twin co-hosts who were aware of each other. we didn't know what OSDD was so we labeled ourselves as a DID system. growing up, we'd become unaware and then aware again at different ages, most recently becoming aware of our suspected OSDD. but it turns out I DO have amnesia. But for a large portion of being in the mental health system, I was misdiagnosed with psychosis, like a lot of systems are, and it messed with my understanding of myself. suddenly, my alters and dissociation were hallucinations and delusions

Our last host assumed imaginary friends/consciousness, until she did some digging, then yeah I also assumed inner consciousness until Moon Knight sent me into a rabbit hole of research lol
