Gluten-free toast disaster at coffee shop

I ordered gluten free toast at a coffee shop today. When it came, I took a big bite of it and was trying to process why it tasted different as I swallowed. 😫😣 I took it up to the counter and the chef was horrified that the cashier didn’t put on the ticket that I needed gluten free bread. I haven’t had gluten in over eight years. I have a HUGE week ahead of me where I have to be on my game at work. I feel miserable. Any tips on how to get it out of my system quickly?

I don't have a definite answer, as myself have not had to deal with the same situation. I would recommend to drink plenty of fluids to keep your digestive system and bowels operating, and contact either your GP or a pharmacy and seek advice from them. Best of luck, I hope you recover soon!
