Need help with glucose machine readings

Anyone have any tips and tricks to get blood to read on their glucose machines? I must have poked my finger 10 times or more. I ran them under warm water. I let my fingers hang down and shook them. I tied off my wrist which did finally get more blood but then I kept getting this error that said the sample was too small and to retest.

I poke my middle finger i found my pointer finger gets more use so is thicker. I prick on the edge closer to the tip.

Set the lancet to it pokes deeper. If you have thick skin or calluses you have to get through that. My husband has his set at the deepest & mine is about half way.

Try to actually poke more towards the edge of your finger rather then the middle

Start at the base of your finger and squeeze in an upward motion! That usually helps for me 💜
