Need help getting off Seroquel, it's causing weight gain!

I take 600 mg every day and I have tried getting off of it for the same reason and i literally couldn’t get out of bed by the third day without it. I just felt so depressed.

I'm only at 100mg but I ask my psychiatrist about lessening it every time I see her. She says not yet every time. I've gained 40 lbs. Hoping she'll consider it at our next appointment.

Yikes! That's a large amount. Maybe lessening the amount of the medication? Just a suggestion. Talk to your doctor and see what your options are and tell them your situation.
