sticking to basics. sometimes i wont get out of a funk but even petting my cat, drinking water and slapping some peanut butter on bread can help my body at least! one step at a time. oh and reaching out is always a good thing to do

sometimes it's having other people/commitments hold me accountable so that the decision to get productive isn't really in my hands but is rather made for me. sometimes it's the "shit, if i don't do at least a little bit to get out of this funk i am actually going to cause irreparable harm to myself or the people around me." sometimes it's the overwhelming anxiety of all the ways things could go wrong if i don't address them now. in all cases, it's the realization and mental self-back-shoving that tells me inaction will lead to nothing good.
