Mine first started that way with just the acid reflux, but it has gotten a lot worse since. The reflux has caused my esophagus to be inflamed so now I get bad heart burn occasionally

I think the terms explain how far up the pipe the acid goes. There are times my stomach hurts and may be bloated because of the acid so my answer would be yes. Heart burn is the acid reaching up to your chest and acid reflux all the way up your esophagus. All of these things are GERD.

I have this little burning sensation on my upper left abdomen area-I hear and feel little flutters and not hungry or pregnant. It only on the left side in that little area- I can feel my heart beating sometimes irregular as well. I feel like when I take those deep breaths my heart starts to beat irregular. It’s literally underneath breast bone left side in that certain area- anyone else? Pls help
