Finding Support for Gastroparesis

I was diagnosed about a yr ago with functional dyspepsia and prescribed pantoprazole 40 mg twice a day now it helps but it's not a cute for sure! Is there a cure? Cuz most days I'm miserable with gas and bloating and then when I try to go to bed I don't even attempt to lay down with out first taking that pill or it's major heartburn so bad I gotta sit up quickly but 20 to 30 min after taking pill then I can finally lay down and get to sleep luckily only thing is I think the pill is effecting my kidneys making them weaker. I just wanted to say hi and I feel for all of you that suffer with this too it really sucks !

Hi. I just got this app today and I hear you. It’s nice to be able to relate to people. I haven’t been diagnosed yet with gastroparesis but I have signs and symptoms. I’ve had issues with my stomach as long as I can remember. I have pots. I do feel like it’s rare and hard some days to not have anyone who gets you. Welcome to the group!

Oh for sure! I have had a similar duration of my gastroparesis and it's been a rough lil journey. But I think there's light at the end of the tunnel, whether it be remission or treatments that work!
