I have an appointment with the Gastroenterologist in November. What should I expect.? What should I bring?

If it isn’t triggering if you start a food diary a head of time that might be helpful to them! You can log what you eat in a day and your GI symptoms throughout the day (nausea if any, when and what kind of bowel movements, if you vomit, when you experience bloat etc.). This can be helpful to a doctor to identify if there is a certain time of day, food, drink etc. that *might* be influencing your symptoms. :)

A list of symptoms and meds (if applicable). I find having it written out somewhere can really help especially if you tend to get overwhelmed in appointments. I just keep a running note on my phone with all the important info. Good luck!
