Gabapentin for Anxiety: Anyone Have Experience?

Has anyone been given a RX for Gabapentin for anxiety? I also take 3 mg of Klonopin a day since 2008 so if I go up more on that I’ll max out at 4 mg, however the Gabapentin I can tell it calms me at only 100 mg but the crazy dreams and nightmares are super intense, has anyone had any Gabapentin experience?

      Yes, it is super hard to get up in the morning but it doesn’t make me sleepy till 3 hours after I take it. During the day I am fine. The half life is like 21 hours so it takes three days to build up in your system. But it chills me out Mostly. I really need to be on an anti depressant but this helps treats my long Covid symptoms as well.

      I take 200mg of gabapentin every night for tremors. It does not help me at all with my anxiety. I take 25mg hydroxyzine every night for that but last night I had to take 50mg cause I was too anxious.

      Yes I took Gabapentin. Not for anxiety though, but that medicine made me a very angry person. I had to get off of it.

      yes and no but I take a sleeping pill too
