For those of you who have had FTM or non binary top surgery, what should you know before going into it? What are some undesirable effects/looks? How bad is the pain? What did it cost? How long were you hospitalized? When could you go back to work? What should I be looking for in a doctor?

Haven't done top surgery, but I've heard that since breasts produce hormones, you're going to experience a hormone crash after the surgery, and you might feel really depressed for a few days
