my mother just refused to come with me to my appointments to help verify to Dr's what's going on. I thought she'd be more open to it, seeing that's what she had to do with my dad to get her diagnosis. I don't get how she can only understand chronic pain if it's something she's felt. she has permanent nerve damage because she wasn't taken seriously, but won't help me before I get to that point. I'm just so tired and frustrated and sick of wasting time and money on Dr's who just blow me off or assume when I say something I mean something else.

I just don't know how to get support from my family, and I don't really have any friends I would feel comfortable dropping all this on

@LeonardMartin She now, after literal years of trying to get me into pt, told me not to listen to the therapist because "they're not doctors". She flat put told me no about getting a cane because she's convinced I can't work with it. At this point I can barely work without it, but it doesn't seem like she actually cares.
