Frustrated with Medical Professionals

❤️ so happy you stood up for yourself. Tha first gastro doctor sounds like an awful person. I'm sorry ypu had to deal with them. Here's to hoping pt works our for you!

I had this happen with my gastro doctor with my stomachs issues . He just kept telling me it was ibs-m (both c&d) and to take whichever of the worst evil pills - his words. I finally had to stand up for myself which was a very hard thing for me to do becuase I’m one of those people pleasers and do what the doctor says people… so he finally ordered a test and found out that my gallbladder was not even working . I also just had the worst experience with a neurologist who basically told me that my tremors and brain fog and dropping things was due to the medication I was taking… and then without even another word just walked out of the room… however his notes stated it was from anxiety… so I’m going for a second opinion to a new dr cuz I stood my ground with my pcp . My fibro doctor just keeps upping my gabapentin. I’m up to 900 mg 3 xs a day and I finally got him to send me to pt becuase I asked him about it and said o had done research

Thank you,hopefully soon unfortunately i wouldnt be able to get actual insurance until I fall, so doctor visit are few, and far between with how expensive they get. I'll keep that in mind. The offer to vent extends to you as well. Seriously, hot me up anytime. I only sleep about two hours a day.

I have the same problem with my fibro, I've had to fight them at every turn for any treatment. It's becoming ridiculous now, people with fibro are often dismissed because Drs just don't care or know how to treat us. I completely understand where your coming from, it sucks. I really hope you get sorted soon. If you ever need to vent my inbox is open.
