Frustrated with Chronic Pain Diagnosis

I talked to a pain management specialist for a second opinion the other day and he looked over all my recent scans and blood work and said that there's nothing wrong with me and I can't take any of the possible meds because of family history and the other meds I'm on. I'm having such a bad pain day that I had to leave work early and I'm so fatigued/exhausted but I also can't sleep. I'm just so frustrated that no one can find a reason/treatment for my pain. I'm obviously in pain so how can nothing be wrong??? I guess this is more of a rant but advice or encouragement would be nice

unfortunately all the doctors are in network of my insurance so I don't really get a say in who I see, I did ask my primary if I could get a referral to a neurologist to see if its a nerve thing, otherwise I'll ask about fibromyalgia and possibly medical marijuana to help with the pain

they can check you for pressure points regarding fibromyalgia. It sounds like your doc is a non-believer!

as far as I know there aren't really any tests for it, I asked my doctor if it could be fibromyalgia and he said maybe and just moved on lmao
