Is it my fault for finally snapping after 6 years of a very complex friendship where the other person is struggling with their mental health and it’s taken a massive toll on the friendship. I tried so hard and still stuff would happen and I’m just fed up. I feel awful bc it’s not even their fault. I shouldn’t have snapped I should’ve just kept my mouth shut but tbh I don’t want to be friends with them anymore I don’t have the temperament to keep dealing with this

@Finleaf unfortunately their oblivious to their own problems and that’s the reason why they can’t take it and get really defensive. I’ve really tried for them but it does get too much

Its not fair to your mental well-being if you are constantly worried about someone else's. You may have to cut ties or give them space for a while so you can focus on your growth.

We can't help people who don't want to be helped, no matter how much we wish we could 💔 It doesn't sound like they're open to change or their situation improving, that isn't their fault sure but it's also not your responsibility and it's okay if you've had enough. We gotta prioritise our own headspace and healing sometimee

This may be the kick up the backside they need to prioritise becoming a healthier person. I hope you're ok

@KhronicKoder Ty I’m ok I’m just waiting on them to clarify if they do or don’t want to be friends from now on although it’s looking a pretty obvious no rn
