I've pooped myself more times than I can remember, so much so that it doesn't really bother me anymore. It's a side effect of a disease that I can't control so I don't let it affect me. I made sure to let everyone at my new job know about my illness and when the time came, I could call upon them to help me. Try to surround yourself with people that understand that they can't ever understand what you're going through. Or force them to understand by raising awareness wherever you go, so much is misunderstood with this disease that sometimes people just need to see you at your worst or know about your absolute worst days, and don't skip the gross details as that's what shocks them into understanding 😂 And don't blame yourself for something that isn't your fault! I'm 27 now and over the years I've learnt how to deal with the 💩 that life has thrown at me. Pun absolutely intended. It helps to see the funny side of things too, like whenever I have a colonoscopy it never fails to make me laugh seeing my butt on the camera screen 🙈

Yes, it's the worst. I've worked at places that just do not understand when I need to go, I need to go 🤷‍♂️
