I just took my first injection of Forteo after getting a third opinion that I should definitely take it. The NP I saw who specializes in osteoporosis showed me a quick demo of how to take it, and I also read the instructions and watched a video on YouTube. I’m still not 100% sure I took it right though. Let’s hope and pray I did. So anyway, the kit that I got had about ten bags of stuff. I’m not sure if I’m storing it right either. I just put everything in the fridge except the needle disposal box. I’m going to assume I just throw that in the trash after it fills up. All the different needle covers are a bit confusing. But I did inject it in my belly for ten seconds like the NP said. Did I do it right?
