So we believe I've been having focal seizures. Usually I only have one. Today I had 3 in the span of an hour. I'm at the ER rn and my blood work has shown low CO2 for weeks but it's steadily dropping and today it was significantly lower than I've ever seen it with it being only 15, usually it's 17-19 but low normal is 22. I read that low CO2 in blood could lower your threshold for seizures and I'm just curious if anyone has experienced this? I'll be bringing it up to the doctor but I'm just wanting any similar experiences from anyone who's gone through this. I've been at the hospital for almost 7 hours and I'm just so tired and I still don't have a room cause I've been sent all over the place. if anyone has had this happen and could give me any idea what it *might* be, I'd appreciate it so much. thank you..

Update, so my usual lowest is actually 18, not 17. Not sure how relevant that is but just wanted to mention it.

I cannot provide personal experiences, but one user mentioned that they had low CO2 levels in their blood and experienced seizures. It's important to discuss this with your doctor to determine if there is a connection between the low CO2 levels and your seizures.
