No. Is that better and is it new? The medication I was prescribed was Amitriptyline for depression -- which makes me really tired even after 8 years.

I was on it for a bit. It was what they tried first with me. But the feeling of numbness is real so make sure to look out for itšŸ’•

For me it was the first (generic Prozac). Didn’t work for me so I’ve been on others and combinations of others for many years. I’ve been on Effexor, Wellbutrin with Effexor, a bunch of other SSRIs, several newer ones, etc. Effexor and Wellbutrin worked best but Effexor is really hard to get off of no matter how slowly you wean. Brain zaps are no joke. Now I take a really old SSRI called Fluvox (fluvoxamine). It has the least side effects of the ones I have been on.

@laceyandme remeron is what they hand out like candy in our county jail. It's abused like crazy and guys pay ridiculous for it.

It was for me. It had very few side effects for me, just made me sleep really deeply, but I think that effect has faded in the last year. I got lucky. My other medication, has worse side effects.

I was given Amitriptyline but for my migraines and not for my depression, yes it didn't help with my migraines but it does make me sleep in 20 minutes and I wake up exhausted...
