Anyone have experience with Floxetine for anxiety?

I've been taking Prozac ( Fluoxetine ) for about a year now and I've found it's been really helpful for my depression and anxiety. I tried lexapro for a few months and didn't find it worked well for me (everyone is different) but switching over did the trick ☺️ for anxiety Fluoxetine takes a little longer to work generally then for depression I found!

I take fluoxetine. I have bipolar depression and GAD. It works so-so for my depression, but does nothing for my anxiety.

I’m on 40 rn and I like it. I can’t remember how I even felt off of it tbh bc I’ve been taking it for a bit now.

I'm on a pretty heave daily dose of it for my GAD. Only side affect for me is that I sleep really deeply. I think it works fine but you really only see change jver time to the point that it's hard to say what it's doing. But with a lot of anxiety meds you only know how much they are helping when you stop taking them. The withdrawal if you forget a day though is a bitch, don't let that freak you out or anything though, just make sure you stay consistent. And like I said, I'm on a bigger dose.

I tried Paxil and Lexapro but those didn't work for me. Fluoxetine has been great though.

I tried Lexapro first. Didn't work for me. Moved on to fluoxetine. Worked wonders!

For me it helps a little

I take it for the antidepressant but every medication is different for everyone. Like Lexapro helped my best friend and did nothing for me. Just go into the darkness with a flashlight it helps
