Flare Ups with Stomach Problems

does anyone else with stomach problems have the issue of getting flare ups? like you're symptoms will be mild for a while and then suddenly out of the blue they get really bad again? and from what I can tell, there's really not anything that would be making it worse

Mine get worse when I drink milk or eat ice cream so mine are mostly food related but if I had a major trigger (PTSD) My stomach hurts but I don't want to eat my gag reflex is on point and my tummy just flips. So With that I take glutimine and work on breathing this last trigger I contacted my Dr and she prescribed an anxiety med.

i understand this whole heartedly. maybe it has something to do with sleep, since cortisol levels are higher in the mornings when you wake up. which lead to morning nausea, the "fight or flight" hormone. or maybe diet from days before as well. at what times we eat or daily stressors. some days are just truly worse than others

that actually makes a lot of sense tbh. I never actually thought of it like that. But sleep could be playing a huge part in my gi issues, along with daily stressors and anxiety
