Fitbit Heart Rate Tracking: Is it Worth It?

Hi Everyone! I was wondering if anyone used a Fitbit to track their heart rate? Is it accurate and something that helps you?

I have a Fitbit HR, it was nice to have. But I’ve lost it in the midst of packing and moving

I don’t have a Fitbit, but I did just get the Apple Watch! It’s been pretty close to accurate, but the biggest thing is that it lets me know my trends (what triggers my heart rate spikes and symptoms) as well as the fact that seeing a high heart rate will remind me to sit down

I did, but having my heart rate right there just made me more anxious about my heart rate, which would make it go up even more 😂 So I find that just checking my own pulse every once in a while to see how I’m doing to be better for me since my anxiety is so bad.

I have a fitbit! I really like it. I have the sense, which is a semi-recent model. I will say that sometimes I get a little caught up on the numbers because I can see them at all times. What I really like though is that I can track trends, like changes in my heart rate over time. I can also see when my heart rate spikes during sleep, which helps narrow down triggers and predict flares.

The numbers definitely sometimes get to my head too! I’m always worried about my heart rate due to heart illness in my family as well as me having pots!
