Fired for Inability to Perform Job Duties Despite ADA Accommodation

Has anyone ever been fired because of their inability to get some things done correctly? I have an ADA Accommodation but my boss said I’ll likely be fired in a couple weeks if I don’t step up and start getting things right. She also forbid me from asking my coworkers for help. Help please? Anyone have experience with this? I went to HR but haven’t received a response.

Yes!! I was fired from a job because I needed to sit and they thought I was being lazy. But here is the messed up part, I had been working there for over two years and they had provided me with a chair because I had three knee surgeries before working there.

I have lost a ridiculous amount of jobs due to employer's inability to provide reasonable accommodations for my disabilities, aka mental illnesses. I completely feel you on this.

Yes, it happens. The shitty part, is you would need proof for being fired for having a disability. You should look into FMLA or Family medical leave act. It allows an individual to miss work, with no questions asked and the company cant do anything about it.
