I have to find a new therapist by December. I currently utilize the counselors at college, but I graduate in December. How do I find a new therapist? I’ve made so much progress with my current one (2 years) that I’m afraid of switching

@SJP I second this! It’s how I’ve found all of mine and my friends’ therapists!
Psychology Today has a find a therapist search tool! Super helpful 😊

You could always try talking to the school to see if you might be able to continue treatment with them. I know how hard it is to switch therapists - your school counselor may be able to make a recommendation for someone new as well who has a similar approach. I was lucky because when I graduated from college my therapist moved to a private practice and I saw them for a little while afterwards. It is worth a shot to ask the schools counseling center and try to work something out!
@Zoey_Val Thank you! I will definitely ask her, I really trust her. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this!!

@Zoey_Val I second the "ask for a recommendation" part. Your therapist knows what you need
