Seeking Advice: Finding a Neurologist for Adult Autism Spectrum Disorder Diagnosis

If you live in an area with universities, check and see if they have a psychological division. Often they will do assessments and diagnosis. I talked to my psychiatrist two days ago and this was his recommendation since I'm seeking a diagnosis for both autism and ADHD. He doesn't diagnose these personally so he always recommends that his patients go to the local university instead. They don't usually take insurance but they might be able to give you paperwork for your insurance and/or operate on a sliding scale so it might be a cheaper option too.
