If you take gabapentin, weight gain is a side effect, and yes, it's hard as hell to lose. Hair loss can be due to a variety of reasons. Research your meds, but definitely have a conversation with your PCP.

Carbonated beverages will make fibromyalgia pain worse. πŸ‘

that is a little misleading. It's not the carbonation, it's the sugar. The excess sugar in any beverage can increase inflammation.

If you're taking any meds it could be your meds

I’d probably have a discussion with your primary. They may need to do some labs to see if something else is going on.

just did a bunch of labs everything was great. I guess it's just a common side effect of covid

My hair got really thin and was falling out when I was first diagnosed in 2017, but after being on a great regimen of medications for the past 5 years I can finally say my hair isn’t falling out anymore and is finally healthier

Also my hair loss started after my thyroid issues started, which was after I had covid.

My weight fluctuates too back in the beginning after I was diagnosed I ended up getting extremely overweight. I barely moved and was sleeping so much. I got rid of the person causing that and felt better and not eating so much. I have lost a lot. I'm still overweight but more comfortable in my body when I see pics of what I looked like 5 years ago. I still have trouble a lot of days getting out of bed but most days it's not an option. I have not noticed hair falling out but it's definitely thinner.

I have hearing loss and my weight fluctuates. I do my best to stay away from sweets and sodas and I cuss that my job requires mask use, making reading lips harder.
