It’s said that fibromyalgia patients are deficient in some vitamin which plays a factor in their condition. If you don’t mind me asking.. what are you all deficient in?? For me I’m not deficient in anything I’ve been checked several times and nothing. My doctor was even impress by my vitamin levels. Which shocked me because I’m not the best eater.

I’m anemic and that’s all they’ve found and it seems to only change my energy

My Dr regularly checks Vitamins D3, Folic, and B's. Those all play a roll in general health and how we feel. He told me that vitamin levels are not a part of fibromyalgia per say, but a lot of people with it tend to be deficient in D3, B6, B12 and Folic.

But I have vitamin D and C deficiency but I honestly don’t think that plays a part but I mean I really don’t no as well and it goes up and down at times for my levels

I have low levels of vitamins but I didn’t think it had anything to do with my fibromyalgia or the other way around

I am generally vitamin D deficient. I have been prescribed mega doses of vitamin D several times. It levels out for a while and then goes back down again. Seems to change with the season due to the amount of sunshine I get in the summer.

I have low iron, vitamin D (but that’s common in the PNW) and low thyroid.

See thats the weird thing. Any time my vitamin levels have been checked ive been great. (Except one time as a teen when they restrained me to take my blood after i said no) One reason being i was on my period and figured that would skew the results. And of course i came back with an iron deficiency. said doctor then said my entire illness was based on that

@Moonlighter I thought my period would play a factor too so I’ve got it check on and off my period… everything comes back great!

I actually have never heard of that. I'd be interested in knowing

@Princessmommy6 it’s one of the things that’s always made me question my diagnosis. 😞 and it almost makes me think that maybe something is wrong with how my body processes vitamins.. maybe the blood test are wrong
