I’ve noticed I get neck spasms when I’m getting anxious/ about to have a flare up. It’s helpful to know when it’s coming but definitely makes the anxiety a bit worse.

Sometimes I will get a sharp pain out of nowhere that causes one of my limbs to jerk! I have tremors and muscle spasms too

I do get random muscle spasms and shakes but I'm unsure if it's been because of my fibromyalgia. My doctor did say that probiotics may help with some of the symptoms of fibromyalgia have you looked into that? That is something that I'm going to be starting with a company called seed. It's a scientifically based probiotic that's supposed to be preserved all the way through the colon. It is expensive but maybe you can look into a similar probiotic and see if that helps. Good 🤞 lunck

I really think it’s the med these doctors are placing us on. I mean full out body jerks right as I fall asleep enough to wake me and my husband up!!

Yes I have essential tremors. I hadn't associated them with my fibro but I suppose they could be connected. They are mostly in my left hand and happen when I am trying to focus on something like playing the piano or standing and reading my phone.

I have hand tremors, mild mostly. But sometimes in bed, I have severe full body tremors or spasms. They're a lot worse than the kind a person gets when falling asleep. These will actually wake me from a sound sleep. Which is so frustrating because it takes me ages to fall asleep. Medical marijuana has helped with the sleep issue. I've had FM for so long, I don't worry much anymore about new issues unless I think it could be related to something other than FM. That's easier for me because I am a retired Registered Nurse. I have had the same doctor since 2015. When she has changed locations, I've followed her. She listens to everything I say and is super at staying on top of issues. Many years ago, I changed to female doctors because I found that most of them will listen to a woman much more thoroughly than the men do.

I have tremors and jerks too. At one point I thought I had MS. I try to do some light yoga relaxation exercises but really idk what could make this better

Yes! Driving is scary because my arms will randomly jerk. Relaxing sometimes feels like a seizure because of random jerks. It gets annoying.

I really don’t like driving most of the time either because it seems as though my attention isn’t there.. I’m not focusing as I should.. which makes me nervous! The other day I thought something was wrong with my truck because I put it in reverse and it wouldn’t move so for 30 minutes I was sitting outside turning my car on and off …. Putting it in drive and reverse … and guess what was wrong.. NOTHING! 😩 my parking brake was down… but the fact that it took me so long to figure it out scares me

Yea I get tremors often throughout the day.. especially head and hand tremors.. but I also get shakiness/tremors throughout my body.. and it happens randomly.. or it’ll happen in my legs if I bend over or squat down or even if I’m standing for a while
