Dealing with Fibromyalgia: My Struggle for Help

Hello! I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia but my doctor doesn't want to help me. I have alot of chronic pain and depression from it.

I would seek a different doctor preferably a rheumatologist. We have to advocate for ourself it’s just a must sometimes. Doctors make mistakes and some should not even be practicing

Ugh that sucks. It's awful when they push us away like that. Heating pad, heated blanket, stress ball to squeeze when it's really bad, tiger balm/lidocaine if you can get it. Definitely get the doctor to document that they won't treat you like another user said. I'm sorry you're going through this. Sending love💙

Maybe try a massage or chiropractor for the pain and Cymbalta has been helping Me with it also

If you can't switch doctors you can try asking them to document it in your chart that they aren't treating it/referring you for treatment. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this though, it hurts when the people who are supposed to help us won't.
