Struggling with Sleep and Fibromyalgia

Hi!! I’ve been battling FMS since 2017 (truthfully, probably longer). I’m really struggling to get good sleep lately. I take zanaflex (8mg) nightly along with magnesium for muscle cramps/RLS. I had been taking melatonin but I’m not sure it was helping me. Are there any supplements (or even medications) you’ve had luck with in helping you not only fall asleep but STAY asleep??

Can you help? connect today

This is what sucks about working for a federal contractor…. 😔 I didn’t have much luck with CBD and wish I could try something with a little THC but can’t due to work

That sucks. I wish companies understood that those things can actually help. It’s not a recreational thing it’s a thing to help with pain. I hope that it changes soon.

I do use a thc salve for joint pain, but Baclofen really helps me sleep well and Gabapentin seems to give me energy during the day.

I take Diazepam to help with sleep. It's a muscle relaxer.

I haven’t tried diazepam or baclofen. I took flexeril for ~2 years and developed a tolerance to it. I started zanaflex (tizanidine) in October and I take 8mg a night. I don’t think it helps at all. I’ll talk to my dr abt maybe trying a different muscle relaxer.

I take amatryptaline at night, it was prescribed to me because at onset of symptoms I was complaining about not being able to sleep at night and it makes most people sleepy.
