I am under investigation for all but so. far have a diagnosis of antiphospholipid syndrome and undifferentiated connective tissue disorder. My rheumatologist in London wasn't interested in me have moved to Birmingham and after a year of waiting have an appointment on the 31st 🤞🏻 for answers

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 12 years ago, I am now being treated for preliminary diagnosis of SLE and RA with Hydroxychloroquine but I’m eager to try a new med or new doctor because the current treatment doesn’t seem to be helping enough.

Has anyone been tested for Sjogren's? Like what @CheetahGirl said most people that have an autoimmune disease usually have more than one. I was diagnosed with SLE Lupus in 2014 and barely diagnosed with Sjogren's in Apr 2022, but had the symptoms of both when I was in high school back in 2001 smh

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1990, and then nothing for 20 years. I kept telling my doctors that something was wrong, and I was met with a lot of doubt that I was actually experiencing something very wrong. In 2010,my amazing rheumatologist did all the right tests, and I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and systemic lupus. Since then, I've gotten great treatment to control my symptoms, to prevent damage to my joints, and he put me on benlysta, which has had a wonderful effect. It makes a huge difference in my life. He told me that I probably had lupus a lot longer than I thought, but had been misdiagnosed for years. A lot of people with autoimmune disease have more than one. I jokingly tell people that when they were handing out autoimmune problems, I stood in line 4 times. LOL

I’m soooo late but I think that’s what is happening with me now . They said it’s rheumatoid arthritis cause my tests are coming back negative but my symptoms don’t all align . I keep getting severe colds / sinus infections .. recent kidney stones .. leg swelling .. rashes including on the scalp 🤦‍♂️
