Has anyone been misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia or were diagnosed with fibromyalgia but also found out they have another illness as well?!

      @Mosey this sounds like Elhers-Danlos. I came across the term when I was seeking a diagnosis. The reason I knew it did not fit my symptoms was that hyper mobile joints are typically a tell tale symptom.

      I think I was misdiagnosed. I suspect some form of sleep disorder (besides insomnia) for the severe daytime sleepyness because it’s not constant like I feel it would be with a chronic fatigue disorder. I also suspect some kind of connective tissue disorder for my pain as I have hypermobile joints, gastroparesis, and semi regular joint subluxations and dislocations.

      I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia to find out it was Lyme disease.

      I have fibro and a few dozen other conditions I have not talked to a single fibro patient with only fibro
