Tracking. Track what you eat, drink, do, how much you sleep, and your mood. Look for patterns and flares. Adjust accordingly. This is the only thing that has helped me. I've dealt with chronic pain most of my life and fibromyalgia for about 20 years. I still track most things.

I like to use apps personally. I use Pain Scale and Fitbit for tracking pain, activity, and food. And I use Finch for mood tracking and daily motivation.

Prayers help and I am glad I found a similar community that can relate. Been diagnosed with fibro and chronic back pain for years but no one seems to understand. This community has been one of the best things I have found so far. Feel free to pm!

MamaLaura62 you are so right! Prayer changes things!🙏 What is with the 40 year old diagnosis? That is when I was diagnosed. I think perimenopause was the culprit! Hormones haven't been my friend. Bad periods, bad pregnancies, and bad perimenopause! So far menopause has been better! Praise God!🙌🏽

Pray a lot. Rest a lot . Stay away from smoking , alcohol , sugar and processed food. I was diagnosed 23 years ago. I’m 63 and it’s a daily battle ❤️

@MamaLaura62 40 years of dealing with this…you are a real warrior. I’ve only had fibro for 5 years but it feels like 20! Blessings to you.
