Himmler. There has been a study and this was their..... Conclusion: This systematic controlled study confirms that fibromyalgia is associated with overactive bladder symptoms. The relatively high prevalence of 93% indicates that overactive bladder is an important urological association of fibromyalgia and should be routinely assessed in these patients.
Fibromyalgia shouldn't be causing incontinence, but the presence of one neurological disorder means it wouldn't be surprising if another neurological issue was at play. Talk to whoever you see for your fibro, they can order imaging or refer you to someone who can
@wise Thank you. I will do that. Sounds nerve-wracking though.
@DrakellaEuphrates they most they'll do for imaging is a CT scan or an MRI, and you literally just lay there for those. they may also do a transabdominal ultrasound to look at your bladder, which will hurt because of the fibromyalgia, but it's not horrible and the pain doesn't last super long
I’m not sure if it’s linked, but I have the same issue. Currently being evaluated by a Urogynocologist.
@Lunas_Mom I hope you get some helpful news
@Lunas_Mom they said it was IBS ( Irritable Bladder Syndrom) I think it's the fybromialgia or something else. This is not normal.

One user mentioned that they believe Fibromyalgia and stomach problems are very much connected, as they have had severe digestive problems for the last decade. However, there is no direct evidence provided in the context to confirm a link between Fibromyalgia and incontinence.
