I'm so sorry. I also had a reaction to cymbalta- and gabapentin. I'm currently on Nortriptyline and Lyrica. Pain gets worse at night and I'm also struggling to get to sleep. I've tried benydryl but didn't help. I don't like taking so much medication. I've asked for a nerve block, waiting to hear back. They tried injection of Botox but didn't help at all.

I tried cymbatla, but had a bad reaction. I have bad reactions to certain SSRIs, so I try to stay away from those. I have fibro and depressions also, and I’ve been taking amitriptaline at night, and it has helped my neuropathy a little bit. As for sleep, I would love advice on how to get some of that! I also take propranolol and lunesta, but I still have trouble sleeping and with pain and neuropathy

duloxetine/Cymbalta really helped my sleep but you should have it paired with a mood stabilizer; but If you can't take your meds regularly I would not take it. Feels like the flu if you miss a few doses

Is this drug something I could just request from my doctor?

I get cymbalta. It helps me with the pain and also with the fibro fatigue. Savella may also work as well
