@Honey_Honen I received the payments just in time. My hearing was the last of July and I had to completely quit working in September.

Think about anything else you are suffering from/or because of fibromyalgia or like severe depression, anxieties, thyroid issues, EBV, IBS, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, eating disorders all these things are tied together in some way or another so making these connections with what you suffer from will help you. They like long lists of what you suffer from when applying to disability so make sure you get lots of documentation or diagnoses in your medical records. I have heard of people with fibromyalgia getting disability because it’s just not fibromyalgia it’s all the things I’ve listed above and more.

It took me 5 yrs. Get a lawyer or advocate. Just keep re applying. It is getting more & more recognized. Also, go to a rheumatologist to get diagnosed. The more ammunition you have the better.

I fought for disability for a long time but always got denied. I didn't work for 10 years. I have been back to work for a little over a year but I am able to work from home

Yes, took 8 years and a willing lawyer.

@LALindsey completely relate to this. Mine took 7 years to get diagnosed, and because I had supportive doctors and specialists, who took meticulous notes, my social security disability was approved the first time.

I am in process… I also have post acute Covid and ME.. but if you have moderate to severe you can fight it if you have enough documentation from doctors

I would love advice here as well. I fought it for 3 years and got the final decline. So I have to start all over
