Simply being it up. Tell him your are being your own advocate and thinking outside the box. But be careful to consider everything. As I understand it, fibromyalgia, Frederick ataxia and MS are very similar and easily misdiagnosed. So go in from the angle you are treating the symptoms.

You need all your blood work to show negative for “everything else” before getting a fibro diagnosis. For example my primary dx is rheumatoid arthritis, and once my blood work got back to normal levels but I still had a ton of pain and fatigue, my rheumy decided it was fibro.

I was actually asked by a physical therapist how long I'd had fibro before I could get a diagnosis of it. I was being evaluated for a walker in my 30's due to so much pain in my hips.

Just have a suggestion for those of you who have not been diagnosed with fibromyalgia make an appointment with a rheumatologist get your blood work done explain your symptoms and go from there good luck everyone oh PS if you do have fibromyalgia you might want to consider investing into a TempurPedic that I know it's very expensive but it is well worth it in the long run you sleep much better you wake up with less pain God bless
