Who can diagnose Fibromyalgia?

I was diagnosed by a rheumatologist. As far as I know they are the ones that diagnose FM. I’m now seeing an online PCP that works with Stanza. The doctor is really knowledgeable and specializes in FM. She also listens to you and empathizes with your problems with FM. The diagnosis and treatment of FM is not an easy road, but hang in there.

I was diagnosed by a nurse practitioner at my local hospital’s pain management office!

My family dr did after following me for years. She did tons of tests! She is amazing 🤩

My pcp did. The rheumatologist I saw said he doesn’t deal with fibromyalgia but recommended counseling.

My rheumatologist did. I know some of them don’t know much about it though and don’t feel comfortable making a diagnosis but same with PCP. I hope you find someone who will listen! ❤️
