Looking for others with fibromyalgia

✋ hi. I’m new to this app. Happy to be here and talk with people who are dealing with similar issues. As I personally feel no one takes me serious. I’m 41 and people have this notion that I should be healthy I shouldn’t hurt I’m still young. Or because I hurt everywhere or only hurt a certain place one day and another the next day I’m making it up it’s all in my head. There’s no day I don’t go without pain it’s just some days are worse example rainy days or cold days. It’s really crippled me and I’ve lost a lot. I lost my job that I had for almost 9 years because I wasn’t able to perform my duties. I have increased anxiety. I take gabapentin 150 mg 3 times a day and it does nothing for me except make me sick if I don’t take it. Sorry to carry on. But I feel for everyone going through this, happy to be here and learn more about this awful auto immune disease.
