I'm the same way my doctor told me rest is the best thing for but I also have lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. Wish I could be more help.

I take hot baths when it's cold and soak in the pool when it's hot. Morning walks help too. Someone told me about Fibro Cream but I haven't tried it yet.

Fibroteacher1107, how were you able to get medical Marijuana? I was able to take marinol for a few years but for some reason, had to stop. Now I need to try to go the whole route again.

Magnesium I have always taken magnesium but now I take around 400 mg a day this is my maintenance dose. Make sure you PR it with potassium. Upping my magnesium helped to get rid of the pain.

For me antidepressant, yoga, physical therapy and medical marijuana are the best things to ease fibromyalgia symptoms

Special diet!! Avoiding dairy, wheat, soy, corn, sugar, grains or carbs in general and things like preservatives and food colorings helps me a lot

I have a swim spa. It is set at 102 degrees. It is wonderful. If you get a doctor note you can use it as a tax write off. Check with your tax person. Mayo clinic wrote the prescription. We have no health club in our town or near by. I go in my swim spa daily. Sometimes 3 times a day. This is the only place I will do any type of stretches. Hope this help someone.

Yoga. Not the diehard type, just a gentle class focused on stretching. I go to the YMCA and do a class called BOOM! Mind. It has done wonders for my fibromyalgia and severe arthritis of my neck and back.

Tiny bits of excersize (10-15 minutes) everyday helps me a lot! Just little walks or stretching. Anything aerobic and light.
